All three of the kids are excelling in school. They recently came home with school projects and started working on them immediately. My niece Rose came over to help River with his project.
With all three of the kids in school I am home alone with the animals all day. Stardust and I have been very busy training and recently won gold in a Master Endurance race.
Luna aged up into an elder. I don’t like the idea of her getting older, so I gave her an age down treat.
She continues to excel in her training and can complete a perfect run of the agility course in 40 minutes.
I have also been training Parce. He learned to stop waking the kids up as well as how to roll over.
We have started training on the agility course.
He actually beat Luna’s time and completed a perfect run in 37 minutes.
Stardust reached level 8 in agility and we won the gold medal in the master barrel racing competition.
When I am not with the animals I have been spending a lot of time fishing in the Sylvan Glade.
River will often join me there after school.
My niece Ruby (Clara’s daughter) aged into a toddler. I think Ruby looks a lot like her mom did at that age.
One afternoon while the kids were in school I went to visit my grandma specifically to spend time with her new cats Twilight and Phantom.
It didn’t take long and I was able to “feel the love” with both of them.
Which means I completed my aspiration and earned the animal whisperer trait. It will now be easier to train, discipline, and gain relationship with other animals.
On the weekend the family took a trip to Oasis Springs. River and I did some fishing.
While Ray and Rhea worked on the rambunctious scamp aspiration.
While fishing I manged to catch three new species. I caught a red-tailed shark, anglerfish, and a piranha.
There is an old mine in Oasis Springs that I can’t enter until I earn level 10 handiness skill. I am sure there is a rare fish in there that I can’t find anywhere else.
Therefore, I have been busy upgrading the plumbing and appliances around the house.
For my niece Rose’s birthday we had a party at mom’s lounge. There was cake and a lot of dancing.
We all cheered as Rose blew out her birthday candles. She added the loves the outdoors trait and has the freelance botanist aspiration.
My brother’s cat Cheshire wandered into the party. I, of course, had to spend time playing with him.
Rhea has been begging to go skiing/snowboarding for months. Visiting the mountains is also something I want to do as part of my midlife crisis. Therefore, when the Festival of Snow came to Mt. Komorebi I decided to take the kids.
Rhea had a blast snowboarding and skiing on the bunny slopes.
While in Mt. Komorebi we also celebrated Ray’s birthday.
Ray has the child of the island trait and musical genius aspiration.
On the way home from Mt. Komorebi we stopped by the village of Tomarang to visit the Animal Sanctuary.
I joined the Cub Club and made a large donation towards the Adopt-A-Tiger Program. While most people would take home a tiger poster and stuffed animal I brought home an actual tiger cub. His name is Rajah.
I have been working on teaching Rajah to go potty outside.
I don’t want any of the other animals to feel jealous of the new addition to the family so I have been making sure to give them extra attention.
So far Parce and Luna are getting along great with Rajah.
Stardust and I have continued our training. He reached jumping level 7 and we won silver in the Master Show Jumping competition.
On New Skill Day the kids focused on their respective skills and aspirations.
Meanwhile I spent the day upgrading as much of the plumbing as I could and quickly reached level 10 in the handiness skill. It was a very successful new skill day.
Rajah aged into an adult tiger.
We started working on agility right away.
Rajah completed his first run in 49 minutes with 2 faults. It wasn’t perfect but not bad for a first attempt.
At our first opportunity the kids and I traveled back to Oasis Springs. River went around collecting things for his aspiration.
Ray went swimming. I just realized this is the first time I have shared a photo with his fin. It is a beautiful purple color.
Rhea completed her aspiration. She is doing the “Mind and Body” aspiration next.
Having reached level 10 in the handiness skill I was finally able to open the entrance to the cave.
I made my way to the Forgotten Grotto.
I did some fishing and caught the Wolf Eel.
Which was the final fish I needed to complete the fish collection.
